Array Networks Named Top Provider in China's ADC Market by Frost & Sullivan
Array Networks (News - Alert), a provider of enterprise secure application delivery solutions, was named one of the top two providers of application delivery controllers in China for CY2007 in a Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) study.
A respected consulting firm, Frost & Sullivan analyzed the market share, competitive landscape, market trends and growth opportunities for application delivery controllers (ACD
) markets within the APAC regions and acknowledged Array’s continued upward momentum.
Frost & Sullivan industry manager Arun Chandrasekaran said in a Wednesday statement, "Array Networks has been able to leverage its strength in the SSL VPN
space to emerge as a strong competitor in the ADC segment in China in 2007.”
“Its existing client base, competitive pricing, strong local presence and product synergies have resulted in the company's consistent growth over the last few years," Chandrasekaran added.
The ADC market in China has witnessed explosive growth, reporting a market size of $55.9 million in 2007. Array Networks garnered 12.4 percent of all sales of this growing market.
Top spenders on ADC solutions included BFSI (Banking, Financial Services & Insurance), Service Providers and ITeS verticals, which relied on IT for their business operations and customer services.
In addition, the Greater China ADC market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 18.8 percent to reach a market size of $272.7 million in 2014 as a result of aggressive marketing efforts by key market players such as Array Networks.

The TMX series from Array Networks is an ADC that is designed to complement its SSL VPN product as part of the company’s overall Secure Application Delivery architecture. The TMX series integrates strong caching features, loading balancing and SSL offloading.
Array has done well to leverage a well-designed product, a strong local presence, a dominant presence in the SSL VPN segment and a large installed base. As such, the company has been able to achieve significant growth within the China ADC market and within the BFSI and service provider verticals in particular.
